FAQ
Does electronic injection reprogramming harm my engine?
No, as our programs always respect the safety margin left by the manufacturer. As this margin is respected, the engine, brakes, transmission, etc., are only subjected to the conditions already foreseen by the factory. The useful life of the set is not changed. Protection functions - such as vehicle diagnostics - are not affected. Oil changes and maintenance must be followed as indicated in the manual.
What is the minimum and maximum mileage that I can reprogram my vehicle/machine?
You can reprogram your vehicle regardless of its mileage. It is perfectly safe to do this on new vehicles, we have partnerships with several dealerships to carry out the service on new vehicles!
What is DPF and EGR delete? What are they for, and why turn them off?
EGR is an exhaust gas recirculation valve used to reduce emissions from an engine. DPF is a diesel particulate filter, which is installed on most new trucks and diesel machinery. The 'DPF delete' and/or 'EGR delete' is nothing more than the removal/shutdown of the system in question. For a more detailed explanation, please select “DPF Particulate Filter Removal and EGR Valve Solution” in the top menu under Services.
