TESLA CYBERTRUCK, APRIL 1ST OUT OF SEASON OR EXCELLENT MARKETING STRATEGY?

Elon Musk revealed yesterday(21/11/2019), the Cybertruck, a 100% electric truck that promised to revolutionize the North American pickup truck market. But did he really reveal it?

Is the Tesla Cybertruck real?

All automotive news sites rushed to publish about the launch as quickly as possible, but it seems they missed what the Cybertruck's announcement was probably a great marketing move by the automaker.

From the first sketch of the Tesla Cybertruck that circulated on the internet about the truck to realistic renderings of the pre-launch concept, its lines were totally different from those of yesterday's launch. Amidst a presentation with fonts and special effects that look like something from an 80s film; glass that would theoretically be bulletproof and broke; or a “tug of war” with an F150.

Elon Musk seems to have hypnotized the audience into not realizing that all of this seems like a big move to draw the world's attention to the real big launch that is about to come, and - this is - it will leave everyone with their “mouths open”.

And do you think that the Tesla Cybertruck pickup truck with a futuristic design (for the 80s) is real, or was it a big idea from the Tesla Marketing team? Our bet is that in the next few days we will have the real Tesla pickup truck revealed, and it will be much cooler (and more beautiful) than this one!

It will be launched in 2023

The promise is that the launch will be in 2023, however it is impossible to say whether the Cybertruck will arrive by the end of the first half of 2023. Analyzing the history, it seems certain that the Tesla electric pickup truck faces several difficulties in reaching the market.
