Highlights from the conversation on Bodecast
1. What is remap and how does it work?
Markus explained clearly what the remap, highlighting that it involves reprogramming the vehicle's electronic control unit to optimize performance, power and efficiency. He also detailed how this solution can transform the drivability of pickup trucks like the RAM 2500, making it even more robust and suited to the owner's needs.
2. The importance of security
Security was one of the pillars of the discussion. Markus reinforced that, in Strike Brasil, all services are performed with strict quality standards. The company uses state-of-the-art equipment and follows technical standards to ensure the integrity of the vehicle, offering a reliable service aligned with customer expectations.
3. The challenges of Brazilian legislation
Another point raised in Bodecast was the lack of clarity in legislation related to vehicle customization. According to Markus, this lack of specific standards can limit the market's potential and discourage entusiastas who seek to legalize their modifications.
The CEO of Strike Brasil defended the need for a more open dialogue between companies, consumers and regulatory bodies to create a more favorable environment for the sector.
Suggestions for relaxing the law mentioned in Bodecast:
Allow changes to the vehicle's suspension and wheel/tire assembly, provided that:
- Pass Braking tests to confirm the efficiency of the new set (establish a minimum efficiency for each vehicle category)
- Confirm the speed index of the tire installed for use on all public highways in the country.
- Approval of the quality of the suspension lifting service, with structural tests of the parts used.
- Develop a test to prove the efficiency of the vehicle's suspension, not allowing “workarounds” to be made
- If the tire is sticking out of the vehicle's fender, allow the installation of parts such as “fender flares” to contain the tires back inside the vehicle.
- Establish a maximum limit for the difference between the wheel width and the tire width, to avoid possible tire “displacements”.
