The 2021 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport comes equipped with a MIVEC engine 2.4L Super Silence Aluminum Turbo Diesel with 190 HP and 43 kgf.m of torque. The first SUV in the world to use an aluminum diesel engine.
The engine of this new version of the Pajero Sport 2021 has a turbocharger and direct injection. It works in conjunction with the eight-speed automatic transmission.
Stage 1 Pajero Sport 2021
We received it at the unit Strike Brasil of Campo Grande-MS a version of this vehicle, where we carried out the Stage 1. The gains obtained through our Stage 1 electronic injection reprogramming were:
- Power: +30hp
- Torque: +5 Kgf.m

We remember that there is a limitation in relation to the DPF system, which is the particle filter and the EGR valve, which end up limiting this power.
The gains shown on the dynamometer graph that you can see in the video below, show a linear growth from the beginning to the end of the torque and power curve.
In the case of this Pajero Sport 2021, the manufacturer announces a 190 hp engine. With the chassis measurements we obtain a wheel horsepower number and in the case of this version it is 133whp. Check it out in the video below.
